KISS + A Giveaway

Happy Sunday!  I am just sitting down to in my novel for the evening and I decided to write my "Monday" post tonight.

I had the loveliest birthday on Friday.  It was so simple and fun.  I like to use the motto of KISS - Keep It Simple Stupid Silly!  I had some family members and a couple close friends go to dinner with me and then come back to my place to open gifts and eat some cake.

Penny was so helpful when it came to blowing out candles. 
Then May and two of her friends came to stay the night.  I made them watch Zoolander and I am happy that a new generation of Chinese children will be passing this gem of a movie on to others.

Overall it was a simple day but one where i felt loved and not bad about being older, which is just a win win if you ask me.

    Happy belated birthday! :) My favorite birthday memories are from when I was younger. My mom would always make a cake (whatever I wanted!!) :)

    Happy Birthday!!! My favourite birthday memory was turning 8 as I had a sweet Strawberry Shortcake birthday theme party...it was sweetly rockin'. Thank you for an awesome giveaway.

    My favorite birthday memory was when I turned 19 and me and my best friends went out to for dinner and then drove around in sombreros (from the restaurant). It was just a fun night acting goofy with friends.
