Little Miss Coral

While I was in Vegas I made it my life mission to wear the same colors the whole time I was there.  You may ask yourself why I made this my life mission and I would encourage you not to go down that rabbit hole, it will only end in heartache.

My color choice for the weekend was shades of pink and black.  I like to think it was my neon pink nails that really inspired me in this weekend look.

When we first arrived to Vegas we were eating lunch and a lady at the bar tried to say something dirty to our little group.  I was far from amused and she noticed, "Little Miss Coral over there doesn't like us." (Or something like that.)  Needless to say I liked her insult and for the weekend I was Little Miss Coral.  That was probably one of the nicest insults I have ever been given and it was true too.  I guess being drunk limits your ability to hurt someone's feelings.

Today I am seriously excited to introduce you to Sarah from Seriously Sarah? I have gotten to know Sarah a little this month and I can tell you that I am always uplifted after reading her blog.  She is looking at life positively and working to make each day better.  Find out a little more about Sarah Below!

[caption id="attachment_1285" align="aligncenter" width="620"]She could be a Little Miss Coral too! She could be a Little Miss Coral too![/caption]

1. What is your blog, Seriously Sarah? about?

Seriously, Sarah? is a place where I can share my musings about life. When I started the blog, I wanted to share some crafts that I had done and recipes that I created, but I ran out of those pretty quickly. Since then, I've been trying to be open about my struggles with my health, but keeping it light. Life is hard and I want to provide a way to connect with other women my age who might be going through the same struggles.

2. You just got married in November. What has been the best thing about being married? What is one thing you learned that you were not expecting to learn?

The best thing about being married is sharing a house! My husband is a great cook and works from home, so I always have something great waiting for me! I've been learning a lot about how my husband can't multitask. He says that it's a guy thing, but it might just be him.

 3. So you work as a law enforcement specialist, can you tell us anything about your job or would you have to kill us?

I analyze things. Anymore and I would have to kill you!

[caption id="attachment_1288" align="aligncenter" width="620"] I don't believe you would kill me, you look too nice.[/caption]

 4. What is your go to karaoke song?

I only did Karaoke one time, when I was in training for work. I think we sang Sweet Caroline.

 5. As a fellow concert lover, I love knowing what your favorite concert experience has been and who tops your list for shows you have to see.

1. Anberlin is my favorite live show. They're so passionate and consistently awesome. There is so much power behind their music.

2. A strong runner up is Needtobreathe.

3. Nathan Angelo. The man is a genius.

I've been wanting to see The Civil Wars, The Wonder Years, and Fireworks for years. I also wish that I had gotten to see The Starting Line before they broke up.

 6. I also love puppies! Tell us about your new addition to your family.

My new puppy's name is Rylie. We wanted to name her something that with go with our other dog, Josie. She's the funniest dog that I've ever seen. She is always chasing around her big sister. They have already turned into best friends after two months.

Seriously Sarah?

  1. I love the color theme you had going on. I feel like when I buy clothes I always lean towards the same colors and then I think I have too much of that color so I buy a different color in bulk. Crazy. I'll have to check out Sarah;s blog :) another puppy lover

  14. That is the best insult ever. Like ever. Plus coral is the best color! I am totally guilty of over doing it, with the mint. In 10 years, I will hate all of my photos.
